Maybe you want to have a stock ready dog for your working ranch. Maybe you want to compete at trials. Or maybe you have a border collie and you want to help them reach their full potential. Whatever it is, the way you start your dog can make all the difference in the world.
Ranching and training dogs are not only my passion, but it is my full-time job. I know the headache of trying to push cows without a good dog. Saddling a horse, waiting for your wife and kids to be home, yelling at everyone because they can’t read your mind. Been there, done that. I would dare say a good stock dog could save a marriage.
My Approach
It all begins with a good relationship to an amazing dog. Border collies are incredibly sensitive animals who want to do right by you. I set my dogs up for success by putting them into situations that I know they will succeed in.
Ranching
Our family has been ranching for generations. We love the work, and we believe it is the best and hardest line of work. Don’t make it harder on yourself by not having a four-legged partner. They truly make the difference.
trials
Because I work my dogs every day on the ranch, they happen to do really well at trials. It is an enjoyable way to interact with my dog, and other like-minded professionals. We have been all over the country competing between hay and calving season.
